We are trying to build a school, support poor children in schools, provide clean water and provide micro-finance. All this takes money. The cost to run the charity is zero, as all our time and expenses are freely given, so any money raised goes to Kenya. See the 2010 accounts and trustees report for the income and expenditure in 2010.

Any donations during December, regardless of how small, will be thanked with the gift of some Maasai beads. Please ensure you leave your contact details.

Corporate Donation
If you are a company, please consider donating part of your charity budget to OCP. Your name will be added to our corporate sponsors page.

Leave a legacy
Last, but by no means least, leave a legacy in your will to OCP and help us reduce the effects of poverty in the Maasai community.

With your money, our aim is simple:

If you are kind enough to donate, it is our duty to ensure that every penny received* is used in Kenya supporting the charity's aim.

All the time of the UK staff is freely given and we pay for any flights, accommodation or expenses ourselves. The charity trustees pay for the running costs of the charity. This is their donation to the Maasai.

Compare our costs (zero) with other larger charities where only a small part of what you give ends up at the front line being used for the charity's aim.

Gift Aid
By completing this gift aid form, your donation can be increased by 25%  at no cost to you.

* Depending upon your payment method used, some money is lost before it arrives with us in bank or credit card charges. The cheapest way for us to receive donations is by cheque.
